Where Should I serve?

If you’ve recently joined the church, or are considering joining, you may be wondering what ministries we have at Freedom. We have a variety of ministries, ranging from our regular youth ministries to serving the community around our church. Interested in serving in one of our ministries? Check out the descriptions below and let us know which one you would like to participate in!
Sunday School
With classes for all age groups, Sunday School offers a chance to learn in a smaller, more focused environment. Our classes are based on age-groups for grade-level students, with adult classes divided up into various categories as needed. Sunday school classes meet each Sunday at 9:15 am.

Operating in all services and for some special events, our nursery offers a place for babies and small children during the service. At full capacity, we have three separate nurseries allowing for babies to be more closely cared for while toddlers are allowed to play. In order to keep children safe, all workers in our nursery are required to attend a child protection class, and at least two people, one of whom must be an adult, are present at all times while a child is under our care.
Thrive Student Ministries
Awana is a dynamic ministry providing a fun atmosphere while learning. We have a different theme night each week. Activities include games, crafts, Bible teaching, handbooks, local outings, and regional events. An in-depth description of each club and AWANA itself is available at the Awana website. AWANA meets during the Wednesday evening service, beginning at 6:45 pm Our youth program has great activities, an exciting, godly music program, and Christ-centered teaching. Our goal is that all of our teenagers develop into mature Christian adults whose lives glorify God. We would love to have the opportunity to come alongside you and assist you in raising teenagers that love and glorify Christ. Thrive Student Ministries meets during the Wednesday evening service, beginning at 6:45 pm.
We support missionaries all over the world as they serve in their respective fields. These ministries range from a single missionary and his family to organizations providing services for their communities. Each of these missionaries share our goal of bringing people to God through faith in Jesus Christ. For a more detailed listing of our missionaries and where they serve, click here. C.A.R.E. is a ministry of our church using our gifts to care for others. Our teams meet regularly and serve in various capacities to meet the needs of our community. The different teams range from hospital visitation and prayer to providing meals or household chores where needed. If you have a special request you would like us to pray for or help you with, please let us know. We are here to care for you.
