Follow our progress here as we continue to work on our building Project.
Brick and Electrical
Before and after Thanksgiving, the crews worked on brick for the exterior and electrical on the interior.
As the effects of Hurricane Matthew began to subside, construction continued with the fitting of the steel roof beams.
Walls and supports
Monday, September 27, 2016, saw the first of the main structural supports. You can also see the reinforcements to the wall that joins the existing building.
A strong foundation
On Friday, September 18, 2016, the concrete pad was formed. In the pictures below, you can see the workers as they prepare and pour the foundation.
On Tuesday, August 23, 2016, the advance survey and concrete crews began work on the new expansion. This addition will include a larger nursery, offices, and classrooms.
On Sunday, June 5, 2016, we broke ground on our new educational wing. Using ceremonial golden shovels, the pastors, staff, deacons, and board of directors all took their turn at symbolically digging in the ground. The pictures below show each group as they took their turn at the shovels.
